Abstract
Pseudomonas oryzihabitans appears to be a soil and saprophytic organism that is commonly isolated in moist environment and it is only rarely implicated as a human pathogen and usually involves catheters, with central venous catheter-related infections being the most frequently reported. We report a case of a CVC-related bacteremia due to Pseudomonas oryzihabitans in a nephropathic and dialyzed patient.
